Fair, in writing
These are the commitments we're making while we build. They're written down so you can take us at our word, and so you can tell us when we break it.
What we commit to
-
Prices can go down, not just up.
A seat that sits empty is a price that was too high. If the model says to cut a price, we'll recommend the cut, and we won't build something that only ever pushes prices up.
-
The organiser decides. The model advises.
Every recommendation arrives with its reasoning, and nothing changes without the organiser's approval. Organisers set the limits, and we stay inside them.
-
We price seats and moments, never people.
A price may depend on the seat, the date and how demand is moving. It will not depend on who you are, where you live, what device you use or how much we think you can pay.
-
No fees that appear at checkout.
The price a fan sees first is the price they pay. If a charge applies, it is shown from the start.
-
Resale value should reach the people who made the show.
When a ticket resells for much more than it cost, someone made that money, and it wasn't the artist or the venue. We're looking for ways to move that value back to them.
-
We'll publish how it works.
We'll explain in plain language what our models look at and what they ignore, and we'll update that when it changes. Organisers shouldn't have to trust a black box.
Hold us to it
If something we build or say breaks one of these, we want to know. Write to us and we'll answer, and if you're right we'll fix it and say so here.
Get early access
We're opening Tesserlint to a small group of organisers and early fans first. Leave your email and we'll write when there's something to try.
